ESTUDIOS LIBERTARIOS provides completely open access to its content, which means that all articles are available on the web for consultation immediately after being published. This is based on the principle that offering the public free access to research contributes to greater global exchange of knowledge.
The journal published its first issue (October 2018) under a Creative Commons Attribution – Non-Commercial – NoDerivs 4.0 International License, which only allows downloading and sharing the articles, but not modifying them in any way or using them commercially. In order to fully open access to the publication, starting in October 2019, we will adopt a CC BY 4.0 License, which will allow users to freely read, download, distribute and use the articles as long as the author is credited the work for the original creation. It is worth noting that the journal allows authors to retain the rights to their articles, including the right to publish without restrictions.
As part of its editorial philosophy, the journal DOES NOT charge APCs (Article Processing Charges) or submission charges, at any stage of the publication process. Readers are also not charged for downloading the material.
