- The working languages are Spanish and English. Articles must be addressed to an international and multidisciplinary audience. Likewise, they must be related to the general theme established for each edition. However, exceptions may be made depending on the quality of the text.
- Submission of articles implies that the content has not been previously published (except in the form of abstracts, non-peer-reviewed academic papers, conferences or theses) and is not under review for possible publication in another journal. Translations and republications (by people other than the author) will be carried out after having requested the corresponding authorization from whoever has the rights to the original manuscript.
- The works are subject to peer review through a double-blind process. Here it is explained in detail.
- The article submission process is as follows: authors must send two files in Microsoft Word format to editor@estudioslibertarios.org. The first must contain your personal information, that is, full name, professional affiliation, a very brief description of your academic career and email address (other information such as telephone number, work address or Skype username are optional). The second is the article itself, which may not have any reference that identifies the author. For its preparation, it is recommended to use Times New Roman font size 12 and 1.15 spacing. There is no length limit, however, it is recommended that the article not exceed 35 pages (approximately 12,000 words), including bibliographic references, tables, graphs, among others.
- Manuscripts must include on the first page a summary of no less than 100 words that identifies the following elements: Research context. Purpose of the article. Brief description of the methodology used. Most relevant findings from the research and mention the added value it provides. Entity funding the research, if applicable. A list of keywords (at least three) and JEL classification if applicable should also be made. Articles written in Spanish must include the abstract in Spanish and English. For texts written in English, the author may write the summary only in that language. If approved for publication, the editors will write the summary in Spanish.
- In theory, it is not necessary for the work to be divided into sections, but if the author so decides, they will have to be numbered consecutively and using Arabic numerals (1,2,3,4…). Point 1 will always correspond to the introduction.
- Tables, graphs and images (if applicable) must be presented in black and white, with title, source cited in APA standards and their numbering will be correlative.
- Bibliographic citations within the text must be in APA format.
- Footnotes will only be used to add information, clarify or contextualize a concept. Never to reference or quote. If used, they must be numbered consecutively and may not contain graphics or tables.
- The bibliography used will go at the end of the document under the title “References” and will also be in APA format. However, we recommend authors not spend too much time searching for the perfect way to cite a source. Our interest is that the source is easily traceable. If slight citation errors occur, they will be corrected in the edition.
- The annexes should go at the end of the document, after the bibliographical references section.
- Before final publication, the authors will be sent galley proofs of their article.
